Perfect Matching in Statistical Physics and Chemistry

The enumeration of perfect matchings is a problem arised in mathematics, statistical physics and chemistry simultaneously. In this talk we will explain two powerful approach - transfer matrix method and Pfaffian method and give a survey of the recent joint works of Qiang Jianguo, Yan Weigen and Yeh Yeong-Nan and myself by using these two method.
